LOS ANGELES, July 1 (UPI) -- Vivica A. Fox squelched former beau 50 Cent's accusations that the Hollywood beauty used the rapper's fame to further her film career.
Fox, whose acting credits include "Independence Day," "Kill Bill" and "Batman and Robin," was quick to spout off about her ex Tuesday while backstage at the Black Entertainment Television Awards in Los Angeles, BBC's Radio One reported Thursday.
"Well, you know, 50 Cent might like to think he made me sexy, but, I just had to get that out in the universe and let him know no he did not," Fox said.
"Y'all don't know I've been waiting a year to say that. ... I've been quiet for nine long months!
"I've been in the game for 10, 15 years. I didn't need to exploit or use nobody. I haven't gotta use nobody for no cover of no magazine so he can put that where? Back there!"
Fox and 50 Cent broke up last year.
