MTV, Viva La Bam to appeal order to halt

POCOPSON, Pa., June 28 (UPI) -- MTV and the producer of the "Viva La Bam" show plan to appeal a cease and desist order from the Pennsylvania township where the production is ongoing.

Brandon C. "Bam" Margera was still making his MTV show on his 13.8-acre spread last week, six days after Pocopson Township ordered him to cease and desist production, the Philadelphia Inquirer reported Monday.

The show is a spinoff of Margera's previous series and movie, "Jackass!"

This is the fourth time in two years municipal authorities have had to act as a result of Margera's show, which glorifies "stupid human tricks."

His parents paid a $600 fine after Margera got an elephant to visit their home in nearby Concord Township in Delaware County.

In September, East Goshen Township asked Margera and crew to halt production at an apartment complex. The township said it was an illegal commercial activity in a residential area.
