LOS ANGELES, June 28 (UPI) -- Keith Richards will join an all-star lineup of musicians for a tribute to the late rocker Gram Parsons in Los Angeles and Santa Barbara, Calif., next week.

Parsons, who died in 1973, was a member of the Byrds and the Flying Burrito Brothers. He was credited with showing Richards how to play country music.

"Return to Sin City: A Tribute to Gram Parsons" will run for two days -- July 9 at the Santa Barbara Bowl in Santa Barbara. and July 10 at the Universal Amphitheatre in Los Angeles.

Besides Richards, the lineup also includes Steve Earle, Norah Jones, Lucinda Williams and Dwight Yoakam.

Proceeds from the concerts will be donated to the Musicians' Assistance Program, which helps professional musicians get treatment for drug and alcohol addiction regardless of their ability to pay.
