LOS ANGELES, June 28 (UPI) -- Actor Ashton Kutcher, whose first Hollywood job was as a model, has returned to his roots to be the face of Zoo York, a skate-influenced U.S. clothing line.
"I don't wear their clothes -- they make the clothes I wear. Their line looks like my closet," Kutcher, 26, said of Zoo York at Monday's World New Entertainment Network.
Zoo York officials said the "Punk'd" star is right for the designer.
"He engages everything with such sincerity that you can't help but know that you are seeing a true representation of who he is, no matter what his surroundings. This consistency is similar to the philosophy which drives Zoo York," said Greg Lucci, vice president of Zoo York.
Kutcher, who also is Demi Moore's beau, quit his biochemical engineering major at the University Of Iowa in 1997 to become a model.
