NEW YORK, June 25 (UPI) -- Ashley Olsen has canceled a trip to Australia to stay in New York while twin Mary-Kate reportedly receives treatment for anorexia.

The Olsens were scheduled to travel to Melbourne next week for Tuesday's Australia premiere of their film "New York Minute." Plans changed with Wednesday's news that Mary-Kate was being treated for a "health-related issue," a situation that prompted Ashley to also cancel her travels, E! Online reported Friday.

"Ashley Olsen has decided to be with her family at this time," said Robert Thorne, of the Olsens' Dualstar Entertainment Group.

Rumors have been circulating since May's U.S. premiere of "New York Minute" that Mary-Kate suffered from an eating disorder.

Mary-Kate is expected to remain in treatment at an undisclosed facility for one month, E! said.

Mary-Kate and Ashley, who each received $150 million on their 18th birthday June 13, are set to enter New York University in the fall.
