HENDERSONVILLE, Tenn., June 24 (UPI) -- Country music singer Marty Stuart was arrested and charged with driving under the influence in Hendersonville, Tenn., it was reported Thursday.

Stuart was taken into custody after allegedly hitting two cars in a McDonald's parking lot Wednesday, WKRN-TV in Nashville reported.

Police said Stuart was carrying prescription medication, but gave no other details.

Stuart was arrested in the same town for DUI in 2002. The judge later ruled the officer lacked probable cause for that arrest.
