Aerosmith cancels some U.S. tour dates

LOS ANGELES, June 14 (UPI) -- The band Aerosmith has canceled several dates in its ongoing U.S. tour because of illness, Pollstar reported Monday.

The band's Monday evening show in Scranton, Pa., was canceled, with the group currently expected to resume its tour Wednesday in Virginia Beach, Va.

The canceled June 6 performance in Birmingham, Ala., has been rescheduled for June 30.

The band has been on the road since March with Cheap Trick promoting the latest Aerosmith album, "Honkin' On Bobo."

Last year's Aerosmith's tour with KISS was ranked in Pollstar's top 10 highest-grossing tours of 2003, with revenues of $63 million.
