Chenoweth has nicest Broadway dressing room

NEW YORK, June 5 (UPI) -- For stars on Broadway, some dressing rooms are a lot nicer and even larger than a lot of New York City apartments.

The New York Post reported Saturday the best dressing room on Broadway currently belongs to Kristin Chenoweth, who won her first Tony in 1999 and is nominated this year for "Wicked."

Her Gershwin Theatre dressing room contains plush pink couches and pillows, pink-and-white painted walls, a private bathroom, air conditioning, and a top-of-the-line vanity fit for five women.

"I just said make it pretty," the actress said. "I wanted it to be like the character (Glinda the Good Witch) so that when I got here, I would start feeling girlie and pink," she said. "My first apartment might have been smaller than this." Chenoweth

The dressing room has become a magnet for celebrities: Liza Minnelli, Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick, Paul Newman, Kevin Kline, Warren Beatty and Annette Bening, David Hyde Pierce, and Dylan McDermott have all dropped by, according to the Post.
