HOLLYWOOD, May 30 (UPI) -- Dreamworks' "Shrek 2," topped the U.S. box office by adding $74 million to its box office of $238 million, reported the Web site boxofficemojo.com.
Fox's "The Day After Tomorrow," grossed $70 million in its premier week.
"Troy," distributed by Warner Bros., added $11 million to its box office of $106 million.
In its debut week, "Raising Helen," distributed by Buena Vista, grossed $11 million.
MGM's "Soul Plane" grossed $5.7 million in its premier week.
Universal's "Van Helsing" added $4.9 million to its box office of $109 million.
"Mean Girls," distributed by Paramount, added $4.8 million to its box office of $72 million.
Fox's "Man on Fire," added $1.8 million to its box office of $73 million.
"13 Going on 30," distributed by Sony/Revolution added $1 million to its box office of $54 million.
The independent film, "Super Size Me," added $994,000 to its box office of $4.5 million.
