Holly Deveaux to play Casey Anthony
LOS ANGELES, May 28 (UPI) -- "The Stepford Wives's" Glenn Close said she hopes the audience will dismiss the perfection featured in Hollywood's remake of the film in favor of acceptance.
"It would be nice if people ... looked at whoever they're with, and said, 'I'm happy you're human.' And I don't care if you're flawed,'" Close said, ABC News reported on its Web site Friday.
Close, Nicole Kidman, Bette Midler, Matthew Broderick, and, in her big screen debut, Faith Hill, star in the latest version of the 1970s thriller in which the men of Stepford, Conn., replace their wives with robots to attain perfect homes and spouses.
The actors compared their own lives with the perfection they portrayed onscreen on Friday's edition of ABC's newsmagazine "20/20."
