LONDON, May 28 (UPI) -- Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe said he thinks author J.K. Rowling may kill off the wizardry hero in the final book.

"I'm going to be really unpopular for saying this about Harry, but I've always had the suspicion, with everything that's going on, that he might die," the 14-year-old actor who plays Potter told a press conference to promote the third film.

"Prisoner of Azkaban" premieres Sunday in Britain and opens elsewhere in the country Monday.

"Harry and Voldemort have the same core in them, we get to see that in the fourth film," Radcliffe said. "The only way Voldemort could die is if Harry dies as well."

The subject of the seventh book, which Rowling said would be the final installment of the popular children's series, is a closely-guarded secret, Britain's Daily Mail said.
