NEW YORK, May 25 (UPI) -- Latin pop singer Marc Anthony has postponed his 21-city North American summer tour because of production delays on his upcoming CDs.
"Due to the delay in production of my two albums, I have chosen to postpone my Nada Personal tour until November," Anthony said in a statement, Billboard.com reported Tuesday. "Instead, I will allocate the summer months to the promotion of my new CDs."
Anthony's Spanish-language album "Amar Sin Mentiras" was to be released June 1 by Columbia Records. A full-length salsa CD also was scheduled for a July release. It is unclear whether either project is still on track for their original release dates.
Fans who purchased tickets via Ticketmaster's charge-by-phone or online system will receive automatic refunds. Tickets bought through other means will be refunded at points of purchase, Billboard said.
Anthony's tour was set to kick off June 11 in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
