NEW YORK, May 22 (UPI) -- Sarah Ferguson is planning to live in the New York City area this summer where she will hold talks with TV and radio companies.

"I would like to rent a place in the country -- I don't like to be in the city. I like the green grass," she told Ladies' Home Journal exclusively. "Just a two-bedroom house with a long drive, a log fireplace and a pine table in the kitchen."

The duchess said her coming to live in America for several months is her way of blossoming and to start a new chapter in her life following her divorce from Britain's Prince Andrew.

Since Princess Beatrice, 15, and Princess Eugenie, 14, are both in boarding school, Ferguson said that she could now consider opportunities that could keep her away from her children for prolonged periods.

"They want me to be a success, they want me to do my own radio and TV shows," she said. "They get angry when they think I'm being weak."
