LONDON, May 21 (UPI) -- Victoria Beckham will join her soccer star husband in Madrid in a show of unity aimed at countering tales of David Beckham's alleged affairs.
The Beckhams issued a statement saying they will live together in Madrid, where David Beckham plays for the Real Madrids, and they will enroll their son in school there, Britain's Daily Mail reported.
"I have a long term commitment to Real and my life in Spain," David Beckham said. "I've been here for one season and it feels like the job's not done yet. Victoria shares my vision of our life here together."
Posh Spice and the couple's two young sons stayed in London during Beckham's first Real Madrid season, when rumors erupted of the soccer star's affairs in the Spanish city.
"The time is now right for the children to move to Madrid and we are all looking forward to it enormously. It is a fantastic city with wonderful people and David and I are looking forward to strengthening our links with both," Victoria Beckham said.
