The show will include the Faberge imperial Easter egg known as the "Lilies of the Valley Basket," porcelains, photo albums including pictures taken by the members of the Romanov family who were camera buffs, and other personal items. A tapestry that once belonged to Queen Marie Antoinette of France that was given to Czarina Alexandra by the French government will be included.

The imperial family was executed by the Bolvshevik government in 1917 but has been rehabilitated by the present Communist regime. The bodies of Nicholas and Alexandra and three of their five children have been given burial in the royal crypt at St. Petersburg and the czar and the czarina have been proposed for Russian Orthodox sainthood as martyrs.
