ROME, May 13 (UPI) -- U.S. music producer Quincy Jones says he had a hard time getting stars to commit to a charity concert in Rome, the BBC reported Thursday.
The "We Are The Future" concert was organized to help children in war-ravaged countries like Sierra Leone and Rwanda.
The concert will produce a single, as well, with the proceeds also going to charity.
Scheduled to perform at Sunday's event are Norah Jones, Alicia Keys and Andrea Boccelli.
Oprah Winfrey, Angelina Jolie and boxing champ Muhammad Ali are also expected be at at Rome's ancient Circus Maximus.
"We've got some more surprises coming up too. You'll see. Some good ones," Jones promised. "It's like trying to saddle a rat trying to lock everyone down. Their lives change all the time."
The concert will be shown on MTV stations around the world, the BBC said.
Jones produced the single "We Are The World" in 1985 to raise money for Ethiopian famine victims.
