Beyonce launches fashion line

NEW YORK, May 13 (UPI) -- Beyoncé Knowles has partnered with top U.S. clothing manufacturer Kids Headquarters to launch a line of clothes designed by the R&B diva and her mother.

Kids Headquarters' Jason and Arthur Rabin will provide licensing and brand management, while the singer and her mom, Tina Knowles, oversee the creative direction for the label, MTV.com reported.

"My mother and I share a love of fashion and style, and with this brand we're going to be able to share our vision of what is truly beautiful," Knowles said. "Our line will consist of fashions that I enjoy wearing, and I want them to be appealing to my fans as well."

Kids Headquarters also creates products for Jay-Z's Roc-A-Wear line, as well as Kenneth Cole, Timberland, Ecko Unltd., Skechers U.S.A., Nickelodeon and the Walt Disney Co.

There is no word on when Knowles' fashions will hit stores.
