LOS ANGELES, May 10 (UPI) -- Former Conan O'Brien sidekick Andy Richter is set to return to U.S. TV comedy in the new Fox show "Quintuplets," the New York Daily News said Monday.

"I fully understand the reality of the business of television," the star of the now-defunct "Andy Richter Controls the Universe" show told the News.

"You are not making gourmet food. You're making cheeseburgers," he explained. "I'm fine with that, I just want to make good cheeseburgers. I don't want to make a lousy cardboard, lukewarm imitation."

The new series is set to debut next month, but Richter can also be seen in the new Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen comedy, "New York Minute," in theaters now.
