LOS ANGELES, May 7 (UPI) -- The WB has picked up 13 episodes of "Jack & Bobby," a drama about the teenage McCallister brothers, one of whom is destined to become president.

The series is from "Everwood" creator Greg Berlanti and one of that show's writers, Vanessa Taylor, Zap2it.com said Friday.

Newcomer Matt Long plays Jack, while "The Butterfly Effect" star Logan Lerman portrays Bobby and "Chicago Hope" actress Christine Lahti plays Grace, their offbeat single mother.

Set primarily in the present, the show will include flash-forward segments that feature interviews with President McCallister's White House staff and his first lady.

The show is the first of The WB's drama pilots to get a series order for the 2004-05 season.

The network has also picked up a sketch-comedy show from Jeff Foxworthy likely to premiere during the summer.
