LOS ANGELES, May 6 (UPI) -- The top-rated NBC sit-com "Friends" ended its 10-year run Thursday with happy endings for all of its main characters.

After a decade of ups and downs, Ross (David Schwimmer) and Rachel (Jennifer Aniston) pledged their eternal love for each other.

Erica (Anna Faris,) the birth mother who chose Monica (Courtney Cox Arquette) and Chandler (Matthew Perry) to adopt her baby, unexpectedly had twins--a beautiful baby girl the couple named Erica and a boy they called Jack after Ross and Monica's dad.

Newlyweds Phoebe (Lisa Kudrow) and Mike (Paul Rudd) decided to have a brood of their own.

What's next for actor Joey (Matt LeBlanc,) other than life without his closest pals, will be addressed in his new spin-off "Joey," which reportedly will air in the "Friends" time-slot starting next fall.
