LOS ANGELES, May 5 (UPI) -- Former Guns n' Roses bassist Duff McKagan has reportedly declined to participate in an upcoming VH1 documentary on the early days of the band.
McKagan's decision leaves guitar player Slash and drummer Steven Adler as the only original members of the group to actively cooperate with the show's producers, Roadrunner Records' Blabbermouth.net reported Wednesday.
Others expected to contribute to the project include former Geffen Records executive Tom Zutaut, video director Josh Richman, keyboard player Teddy Andreadis, Dave Navarro of Jane's Addiction, Ratt's Warren De Martini and producer Mike Clink.
The documentary is scheduled to air the first week in June, followed a week later by "The Making of Velvet Revolver," a behind-the-scenes look at Slash and McKagan's new band, Velvet Revolver.
