Brosnan happy with production company

NEW YORK, April 27 (UPI) -- Pierce Brosnan says he started his Irish Dream Time production company to create roles no one else wanted to offer him.

"I keep it as simple as possible," the James Bond portrayer recently told reporters in New York. "I'm a working actor. I like to be employed. I like to stay busy. I never know where the next job is coming from. That's part of the game, part of the excitement, part of the stresses and strains of it. Bond has been glorious in my life.

"It's allowed me to (do so much.) And thank God for Irish Dream Time, otherwise I'd be sitting around waiting for the phone to ring," he said. "Acting is about doing. And life is about doing. So, you take full advantage of it, of the situation, and you go out there and make your own work."

Brosnan will next be seen in the romantic comedy "Laws of Attraction," Irish Dream Time's fourth offering.
