LOS ANGELES, April 23 (UPI) -- Hollywood actor Ron Perlman is set to star as the head of a juvenile delinquents' camp in the independent film "Coldwater."
Perlman will play the charming, but sadistic, leader "The Colonel" Morris Timberland in the fictitious story based on the reality of juvenile boot camps, where the punishment is often greater than the crime, Friday's Hollywood Reporter said.

Music video director Sean Michael Beyer is on board to direct the film, scheduled to begin filming June 1 in northern California.
Perlman currently is starring in the feature film "Hellboy."
