TAOS, N.M., April 13 (UPI) -- Lauren Hutton was taken to a New Mexico hospital with chest pains, but the 60-year-old actress was released with a clean bill of health.

Hutton was rushed to a hospital Monday near her Taos, N.M., home then airlifted to a hospital specializing in heart ailments where she received extensive testing, E!Online reported Tuesday.

"Ms. Hutton has undergone diagnostic tests that have suggested her heart is strong and that the symptoms were most likely the result of a case of indigestion," said Dr. Harvey White, medical director of Heart Hospital of New Mexico in Albuquerque, N.M.

Though Hutton's condition was not serious, the actress released a statement about the importance of taking heart disease seriously.

"Knowing that one in two women die from heart disease, it is important to understand the risk factors for women and seek treatment immediately," Hutton said.

Hutton has been featured on more than two dozen Vogue covers and has appeared in nearly 50 films.
