HOLLYWOOD, March 28 (UPI) -- Warner Bros.' "Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed" grossed $31 million in its debut week and topped the U.S. box office, reported boxoffice.mojo.com.
Buena Vista's "The Ladykillers" grossed $13 million in it's premier week.
"The Passion of The Christ," distributed by Newmarket, added $12 million to its $315 million box office.
Universal's "Dawn of the Dead" added $10 million to its box office of $43 million.
Miramax's "Jersey Girl" grossed $8 million in its premier week.
"Taking Lives," distributed by Warner Bros., added $6.5 million to its box office of $21 million.
"Starsky and Hutch," distributed by Warner Bros., added $6 million to its box office of $77 million.
Buena Vista's "Hidalgo" added $5 million to its box office of $56 million.
"Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind Focus" added $5 million to its box office of $17 million.
Sony's "Secret Window" added $5 million to its box office of $40 million.
