Report: Another FCC fine for Stern

NEW YORK, March 26 (UPI) -- Radio shock jock Howard Stern is about to be slapped with another fine for his outrageous on-air antics, the New York Post reported Friday.

The fine takes him closer to a lifetime total and Hall of Fines record of $2 million, the Post noted.

Not only that, but Stern said radio giant Clear Channel has stopped paying for his radio show after suspending him from six stations for "gross indecency."

"They are liars, they are cheats, and they owe me a ton of dough from the six stations they fired me from," Stern told listeners Wednesday. "We're gonna go after 'em big time."

It is unclear how much money Stern is owed, but his syndication deals are typically paid in cash and are well into six-figures, The Post noted.

A Federal Communications Commission insider told The Post another Stern indecency fine is in the pipeline and may be voted on by commissioners "in three or four weeks."

Stern was fined $27,500 last week.
