LOS ANGELES, March 25 (UPI) -- The U.S. cable station VH1 is planning an unauthorized film about Michael Jackson's life, The Hollywood Reporter said Thursday.
The film's producers said pre-production work has started on the project in Canada and the movie could air as early as this summer.

Tentatively titled "Family Values," the film will chronicle Jackson's life from his "Thriller" days to now.
The producers are looking for actors to play Jackson, members of his family and other important figures in his life, the trade paper noted.
