LOS ANGELES, March 19 (UPI) -- "Lord of the Rings" Hobbit Elijah Wood is being swamped with acting offers now that his work on the Oscar-winning trilogy has finished.

Wood, who appears in the new Charlie Kaufman-scripted comedy "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" this weekend, is being courted for a role in Robert Rodriguez's upcoming star-studded movie "Sin City," Empire Magazine Online reported Friday.

Not only that, but Wood has also just signed up for a role in "Everything is Illuminated," the story of a young American Jew and his quest to find the woman who saved his grandfather in a small Ukrainian town, which the Nazis wiped off the map, the magazine said.

The film is based on the book of the same name by Jonathan Safran Foer and has been adapted by actor Liev Schreiber, who will also make his directorial debut on the film.
