Peter Krause debuts in 'After the Fall'

NEW YORK, March 12 (UPI) -- "Six Feet Under" actor Peter Krause will make his Broadway debut in a revival of Arthur Miller's "After the Fall," Daily Variety reported Friday.

Krause will play Quentin, the Jewish lawyer married to a celebrity named Maggie, in this summer's Roundabout performance at Manhattan's American Airlines Theater.

The role of Maggie has not been filled, but Hilary Swank's name has been linked to the production.

Miller debuted the play in 1964 with Jason Robards and Barbara Loden. He later revised the script for a 1984 revival with Frank Langella and Dianne Wiest in the starring roles.

Miller is making additional revisions for the upcoming production. Previews will begin June 25.

The lead roles of Quentin and Maggie have always been thought to be stand-ins for Miller and Marilyn Monroe.
