Hollywood pilot casting in high gear

LOS ANGELES, March 12 (UPI) -- Jonathan Silverman, Wendie Malick and Missi Pyle are among the actors cast in next fall's TV pilots during a Hollywood hiring spree.

Silverman will co-star in the ABC drama pilot "The DeMarco Affairs," according to Friday's Hollywood Reporter, with Malick joining the ABC drama "Kat Plus One" and Pyle cast in an untitled ABC comedy.

In other casting news, Jane Krakowski is in negotiations to star in CBS's comedy pilot "Taste," which will get the green light if Krakowski signs on to the show.

Marley Shelton has been cast in the WB Network's drama "Dark Shadows," Shemar Moore has joined UPN's drama "Nikki & Nora," and Louise Lombard has been cast in CBS's drama "Wanted."

Omar Epps, Hugh Laurie, Jesse Spencer and Lisa Edelstein have joined the cast of an untitled drama slated for Fox's fall lineup.
