BURBANK, Calif., March 11 (UPI) -- "Access Hollywood" co-anchor Nancy O'Dell and correspondent Billy Bush have been chosen to co-host "Miss USA 2004," it was announced Thursday.

The telecast of the 53rd annual pageant from the Kodak Theatre in Los Angeles will air on NBC on April 12.

Paula M. Shugart, president of the Miss Universe Organization, made the announcement.

"Nancy and Billy are great friends off-camera and I'm sure they will have a lot of fun working together in this new capacity," Shugart said. "'Miss USA 2004' will be an elegant primetime event featuring the most beautiful young women in the country competing from the most glamorous location in Hollywood."
