Vin Diesel returns to 'Fast and Furious'

LOS ANGELES, March 9 (UPI) -- Hollywood actor Vin Diesel, who starred in "The Fast and the Furious," is in talks to lead the third installment of the film, despite missing the sequel.

Diesel has returned to the scene after Universal Pictures passed him over for "2 Fast, 2 Furious" when he demanded $20 million to reprise his role, TV Guide Online reported Tuesday.

Paul Walker, who starred in the first two "Fast and Furious" movies, is not scheduled to appear in the third.
