HOLLYWOOD, March 8 (UPI) -- NBC cut a scene from its unauthorized "Charlie's Angels" bio-pic after the ex-manager of an original "Angels" star balked at how he was depicted.
TV Guide Online reported Monday that the excised closing scene showed Farrah Fawcett's former representative Jay Bernstein hustling a blond on Hollywood Boulevard in his quest to find the next Farrah.
The cut was made after Bernstein reportedly threatened legal action against the makers of the film, which takes a look behind-the-scenes of the hit 1970s private-detective show.
NBC, however, insisted the sequence was cut for artistic reasons.
The new ending will update viewers on what happened to the show's stars.
The series has spawned two successful Hollywood movies: "Charlie's Angels" and "Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle," both of which follow the basic premise of the show, but feature new characters and casts.
