LOS ANGELES, March 5 (UPI) -- Paul Reiser has asked his fellow "Mad About You" castmate and "Friends" star Lisa Kudrow to be in the pilot for his new U.S. sitcom.

Before she was hired by NBC to play Phoebe on "Friends" a decade ago, Kudrow played Ursula on NBC's "Mad About You."

Reiser, the creator and star of "Mad About You," asked Kudrow appear in the pilot for "My 11:30," a comedy about a playboy New York businessman played by Jeff Goldblum, who seeks help from a no-nonsense female shrink, The Hollywood Reporter said.

Although Kudrow is not shopping for a new TV role, sources told the trade paper she is considering various ways to help support Reiser's pilot, including a guest star appearance.
