GLASTONBURY, Scotland, Feb. 27 (UPI) -- Former Beatle Paul McCartney will end his European summer concert tour with headlining appearance at the famed Glastonbury Festival in Scotland.
McCartney, 61, will take the top spot on June 26 at the end of his 2004 Summer Tour, the first time he will have been on the road since becoming a father again, Sky News reported Friday.
McCartney will kick off his month-long tour in May, performing in 12 cities across Europe.
"Touring really has been a lot of fun for us and the audiences have been great. So why stop now?" he said. "I'm looking forward to playing and to visiting some new places."
McCartney's 36-year-old second wife, Heather Mills, gave birth to their baby daughter, Beatrice, in October.
