LOS ANGELES, Feb. 18 (UPI) -- The Hollywood writing team who gave us "2 Fast 2 Furious" is set to re-make the Belgian cop thriller, "An Honest Tradesman," Daily Variety reported.
Michael Brandt and Derek Haas, who also penned "Catch That Kid," will make the movie for Focus Features.

Brandt will make his directing debut on the film, Haas will produce and both will write the script.
The original French-language film, "Un honnette commercant," was shown at the 2002 Montreal Film Festival under the title "Step by Step."
The movie is about the psychological battle between a drug kingpin and police investigators after a murder.
