Many U.S. actors attend London awards show

LONDON, Feb. 14 (UPI) -- Uma Thurman, Jude Law and Renee Zellweger are scheduled to attend the Baftas in London, Britain's most prestigious movie awards show.

Comedian actor Stephen Fry will host the awards held at the Odeon cinema in London's Leicester Square Sunday.

The U.S. civil war epic "Cold Mountain" leads the field with 13 nominations, followed by "The Return of the King" which has 12, the BBC reported. "Cold Mountain" has received a nomination for best British film, along with Richard Curtis' romantic comedy "Love Actually."

Holly Hunter, Benicio Del Toro, Laura Linney, Ian McKellen, Bill Nighy, Emma Thompson, Naomi Watts and Tim Robbins are also expected to attend.

Sean Penn and Scarlett Johansson have two nominations each.
