Pakistan's first Bollywood show nixed

LAHORE, Pakistan, Feb. 12 (UPI) -- A technical problem shut down Pakistan's first-ever Bollywood show Wednesday, The Times News Network reported.

Organizer Bunty Walia called the problems a "hiccup."

"In a way, it's good that we are recognizing the problem areas in the initial stages," he explained. "Once the Indo-Pak cinematic ties start, there won't be any looking back."

Proceeds from the show were expected to benefit the underprivileged in Pakistan. The event could be rescheduled for Feb. 18 or March 22.
