Charlize to be Oscar presenter

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif., Feb. 12 (UPI) -- Actress Charlize Theron will be a presenter at the 76th Academy Awards ceremony, telecast producer Joe Roth announced Thursday.

Theron is nominated for a Best Actress Oscar for her portrayal of a serial killer in the film "Monster."

Her other acting credits include "The Italian Job," "The Cider House Rules," "The Legend of Bagger Vance," The Devil's Advocate" and "2 Days in the Valley."

Academy Awards for outstanding film achievements of 2003 will be presented on Feb. 29 at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood. The ceremony will be televised live on ABC.
