'Spy Kids' DVD comes with 3-D glasses

BURBANK, Calif., Feb. 11 (UPI) -- The DVD version of "Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over" will include four pairs of 3-D glasses, Dimension Home Video has announced.

Filmmaker Robert Rodriguez used three-dimensional special effects on the film to give viewers the feeling they are actually inside a larger-than-life video game.

To allow people to enjoy the 3-D experience at home, special viewing glasses will be packaged inside the two-disc DVD set.

The DVD also includes a normal, 2-D version of the star-studded kiddie adventure so viewers may watch without the glasses. The videotape version of the film only offers the 2-D version.

Starring Antonio Banderas, Carla Gugino, Daryl Sabara, Sylvester Stallone and Alexa Vega, "Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over" is available on DVD and home video Feb. 24.
