Feb. 6, 2004 at 3:43 PM

LOS ANGELES, Feb. 6 (UPI) -- Patricia Arquette is moving into television with the NBC drama pilot for "Medium".

The film actress is negotiating the lead in the project, says Hollywood Reporter, which comes from Glenn Gordon Caron and Paramount Network TV. A co-production with Paramount-based Grammnet Productions and Picturemaker Productions, "Medium" concerns a suburban mom (Arquette) who uses her psychic powers to solve crimes.

In other TV news, NBC has given a pilot pickup to the comedy "Never in My Wildest" from writer-producer Carol Leifer, NBC Studios and NBC-based Dreamworks TV that is contingent upon cast.

Brothers Anthony and Joe Russo, in other NBC pilot news, have been tapped to direct the drama-comedy "HUB," starring Heather Locklear and Blair Underwood.
