The infamous moment came at the end of the AOL Super Bowl Halftime Show, which MTV produced, during a dance between Timberlake and Jackson. As Timberlake, who was the scheduled surprise guest, sang "I'll get you naked by the end of this song," he reached to remove part of Jackson's costume unintentionally exposing her right breast.

The mishap now has most everyone associated with the show apologizing.

Timberlake has said he is sorry for "the wardrobe malfunction." CBS said "the moment did not conform to CBS broadcast standards." The NFL issued a statement saying "it's unlikely that MTV will produce another Super Bowl halftime." Jackson's camp was quoted at MTV.com saying the singer apologizes for the incident.

Only MTV relished the moment that will now be part of Super Bowl history as the cable network reported the incident without a trace of remorse.

"Jaws across the country hit the carpet at exactly the same time," the MTV Web site coverage said. "Janet Jackson, Justin Timberlake and a kinky finale that rocked the Super Bowl to its core."

Beyonce dresses down for film role

NEW YORK, Feb. 2 (UPI) -- Beyonce Knowles says she loved dressing down to play a southern gospel singer in the comedy "The Fighting Temptations."

The gorgeous Destiny's Child singer plays Cuba Gooding Jr.'s love interest in the movie, due to be released on DVD and home video Tuesday.

"That's what attracted me to the movie," Knowles told reporters in New York recently.

"I told my agent: 'Don't give me a script with another glamorous person... Because I don't want to do that,'" she explained. "I feel like it was necessary for people to see me heavier. It was necessary for people to see me with my hair twisted and not so glamorous, with no makeup on, no glamorous clothes and for people to see me dealing with real issues that women go through, being a single mother.

"I grew up in my mom's hair salon and I was around single mothers, just powerful women in general, and I could take that and put that in the character, which was nice."

Outkast's Andre 3000 headed for big screen

LOS ANGELES, Feb. 2 (UPI) -- Outkast's Andre 3000 is moving from music to movies with his role in "Be Cool," the sequel to MGM's "Get Shorty," which began filming Monday in Los Angeles.

The Hollywood Reporter said the hip hop king will join some of Hollywood's most popular actors in the film, including John Travolta, Uma Thurman, Danny DeVito, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Vince Vaughn, James Gandolfini, Cedric the Entertainer, and Christina Milian.

In "Be Cool," Andre will play the leader of a rap group called the Dub MDs, while Harvey Keitel, who also recently joined the cast, will play a record promoter.

The film centers on Chili Palmer, a loan shark-turned-feature film producer, who gives up the movie business when he discovers a singer, Linda Moon (Milian), whom he wants to make famous.

Andre's role was specifically developed for him, sources said.

Last week, the multiple-Grammy-nominated Outkast album "Speakerboxxx/The Love Below" topped the Billboard 200 for a second straight week and seventh overall.

Older actors teach Osment about profession

NEW YORK, Feb. 2 (UPI) -- Teen actor Haley Joel Osment said in New York he learned a lot about his craft from watching masters like Michael Caine and Robert Duvall.

The three co-starred in the family movie "Secondhand Lions," due out on DVD and home video Tuesday.

"They're great," "The Sixth Sense" star told UPI's Karen Butler in a recent interview. "As people, it's amazing to be around them, to hear them talk and tell tales and stuff. Then on the set, acting with them, they're also incredible. They can teach you so much just by being who they are and doing what they do as actors. You really learn a lot about the profession."

Caine has starred in dozens of films, including "The Cider House Rules," "The Quiet American" and "The Statement," while Duvall is best-known for his performances in "The Godfather," series, "MASH" and "Apocalypse Now."

"Secondhand Lions" is about two grumpy old Texan brothers who tell their young ward about the many adventures they had in their younger years.
