Courtney Love hearing postponed

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 28 (UPI) -- Singer actress Courtney Love, who faces two felony counts of possession of a controlled substance, has had her Los Angeles court hearing postponed.

Two painkillers, hydrocodone and oxycodone, were discovered after Love was taken to hospital October 2, KABC reports.

Police say they discovered Love outside an ex-boyfriend's house, whose window she had allegedly broken that day. She is charged separately with a misdemeanor for allegedly being under the influence of a narcotic.

Following the hearing, which was postponed to Feb. 11, self-proclaimed documentarian Richard Lee tried to chase down Love's car. Lee, host of a Seattle cable access show, claims Love plotted to kill her late husband Kurt Cobain, lead singer of Seattle grunge band Nirvana, who committed suicide.

"I'm a real journalist, asking real questions," Lee shouted as he was upbraided by other journalists and cameramen covering the hearing. Lee appeared at Love's previous court appearance in December with the same claims.
