HOLLYWOOD, Jan. 25 (UPI) -- Tim Robbins and Renee Zellweger took Golden Globe awards for supporting roles in a motion picture as the award show in Hollywood got underway Sunday.

Robbins won for best supporting actor in the movie Mystic River, directed by Clint Eastwood.

"Wow. I just sat down," Robbins said after receiving the first award of the evening. "Good thing about this coming early is I get to drink now." But turning serious, he added, "Clint, you are the man. I never felt so trusted and in such good hands."

Renee Zellweger won for best supporting actress in the movie "Cold Mountain."
