
BEVERLY HILLS, Calif., Jan. 13 (UPI) -- The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has announced the seven films being considered for Achievement in Makeup for the 76th Academy Awards.
They are: "Cold Mountain," "The Last Samurai," "The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King," "Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World," "Monster," "Peter Pan," and "Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl."
Any nominated films will be announced along with nominations in 24 other categories on Jan. 27, at 5:30 a.m. PST.
Academy Awards for outstanding film achievements of 2003 will be presented on Feb. 29 at the Kodak Theatre at Hollywood & Highland and will be televised live by the ABC Television Network beginning at 5 p.m. (PST) with a half-hour arrivals segment.
