LAWRENCE, Kan., Dec. 29 (UPI) -- Playing at home Monday for the first time in three weeks, No. 13 Kansas allowed two points in the first nine minutes in a 78-46 rout of Binghamton.

J.R. Giddens scored 16 points and Keith Langford added 14 for Kansas (7-2), which jumped to a 21-2 lead midway through the first half.

Kansas led by as many as 37, allowing Coach Bill Self to play his walk-ons in the final 4 1/2 minutes.

Kansas led 33-14 at halftiem after Binghamton (4-6) shot just 18.5 percent (5-of-27).

Brandon Carter was the only player in double figures for Binghamton with 14 points.
