LOS ANGELES, Dec. 10 (UPI) -- Fox-TV has announced that "Survivor" producer Mark Burnett will produce a new reality series set in a legendary Las Vegas casino, the Golden Nugget.

The network said Tuesday that Burnett's "The Casino" will air next summer, provided former dot.com millionaires Timothy Poster and Thomas Breitling can acquire the Golden Nugget Hotel and Casino properties. Fox executive Mike Darnell said the series would provide an unprecedented look at life in a Vegas casino, as the new owners try to revive the glory days of the "Rat Pack" of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Jr.

"No one has ever had this kind of access," he said.

Burnett said people are attracted to Vegas by two things -- getting rich quick and having as much fun as possible in a short period of time. He said "The Casino" would focus on the two entrepreneurs.

"We will watch them take a seat at the table of the world's most exciting business as they take over one of the most legendary of all Las Vegas casinos, the Golden Nugget," he said.
