LOS ANGELES, Dec. 8 (UPI) -- Trista Rehn, star of "The Bachelorette," doesn't qualify for the role anymore after her weekend California marriage to her firefighter beau.

The lavish ceremony for Rehn and Ryan Sutter in Rancho Mirage, Calif, Saturday will be broadcast as the final episode on ABC Wednesday.

With about 30 friends standing by and along with five television cameras, the blond physical therapist and her fiancee tied the knot, the New York Daily News reported.

ABC picked up the $1 million tab for the wedding at the luxury resort and also reportedly gave the couple a check for $1 million.

As Rehn wore a hand-beaded Badgley Mischka gown; Kenneth Cole tailored the groom's tuxedo; 30,000 roses were flown up from Ecuador, and food from 14 countries was brought in.

Rehn chose Sutter from a bevy of 24 bachelors who, under the glare of TV cameras, vied for her affections when "The Bachelorette" debuted in January.

"The Bachelorette" was a spinoff of ABC's "The Bachelor," on which Rehn was the runner-up a year ago.
