BEVERY HILLS, Calif., Dec. 5 (UPI) -- The Hollywood Women's Press Club will honor actress Eva Marie Saint as a Hollywood Legend in Beverly Hills Sunday at its 62nd Golden Apple Awards.

"It's clear that Eva Marie Saint is a true Hollywood legend," said HWPC President Dorothea Klemetson. "Not only is she a prodigiously talented actress, but she also gives generously of her time to charity."

The organization announced it will also present awards to actress Charlize Theron and Oscar-winning actor Cuba Gooding Jr.

Theron, who starred in "The Cider House Rules," also starred with Gooding and Robert De Niro in "Men of Honor." In her newest film, "Monster," she plays serial killer Aileen Wuornos.

Gooding won the Best Supporting Actor Oscar in 1996 for "Jerry Maguire." He currently appears on screen in "Radio."

Saint won the Best Actress Oscar for "On the Waterfront" in 1954. She won the Emmy for supporting actress for "People Like Us" in 1990.

The Hollywood Women's Press Club began presenting its Gold Apple Awards in 1941.
