
NASHVILLE, Dec. 4 (UPI) -- Legendary entertainer Willie Nelson scored four nominations in country music categories for the 46th annual Grammy Awards, topping of the list of nominees.
Nelson was recognized for best country collaboration with vocals for "Wurlitzer Prize (I Don't Want To Get Over You)" with Norah Jones and "Beer For My Horses," which Nelson recorded with Toby Keith. Country album "Run That by Me One More Time" by Nelson and Ray Price and a solo album "Live and Kickin'" also earned nominations for Nelson.
Other multiple nominees were Randy Travis, Ricky Skaggs & Kentucky Thunder, Brad Paisley, Alison Krauss, and June Carter Cash.
June Carter Cash and her husband, Johnny Cash, who both died during the past year, earned a nomination for their duet of "Temptation" from the "Wildwood Flower" album.
The annual music awards show, with nominations announced Thursday, will be broadcast live Feb. 8 on CBS.
